First Competition, First Medals at the Quebec Provincial Championship

First competition, first medals! On October 3, 2026, our Instagram post congratulated the boys after their first competition at the SAU Quebec Provincial Jiu-Jitsu Championship. Sufyaan earned silver, Andrew earned bronze, and Matt earned bronze. Congratulations to all three!

The event took place at Centre Pierre-Charbonneau in Montreal. The photo brings the three young competitors together in their black gis, wearing their medals, with a coach behind them. It is the same group picture shared in the original post, a moment from their first competition to celebrate with the academy.

Back on September 9, we had announced that the team was ready for this provincial championship. Now we can share this first competition milestone and the medals with our families. A warm congratulations to the boys for taking part!
